Need a quick snapshot of people on-site? Get this from the Dashboard, which is the first page you see when you log into your VisitorBook Admin Portal.
Dashboard buttons #
Dashboard buttons give you a quick view of:
- Staff currently on-site
- Visitors currently on-site
- The number of visits today, this week and this year
The Student Sign-In module is an optional module that is automatically enabled if you are in an educational setting. If this module is enabled on your VisitorBook system, you’ll also see Dashboard buttons that show counts of students arriving late and leaving early.

People Onsite #
The People Onsite section of the Dashboard shows you a snapshot of people who have signed in and are currently on-site. You can see their image (if one was taken when they signed in), type (e.g. staff, visitor, contractor), name and who the person is visiting. You can also see a time when the page was last updated.
Tips:
- Use the Filter by type option on the top-right of this section to select a specific type of person from the dropdown.
- The dropdown only shows visitor types already set up in the system. You set up visitor types by going to User Settings > Visitor Types.
Quick Reports #
A quick report will give you a list of visitors who have signed in for the selected date range and visitor type. Once you have selected your filters, click the Run Report button to generate the report.
