Libresoft VisitorBook is quick and easy to set up. All you need to get going is an annual subscription, our VisitorBook app and a few basic items of easily-sourced equipment.
A Libresoft VisitorBook annual subscription #
Libresoft VisitorBook is cloud-based. Your annual software subscription provides you access to your VisitorBook system, which can be accessed from multiple devices.
Important: As VisitorBook is cloud-based, you’ll need a stable internet or Wi-Fi connection to access the software.

At least one iPad #
Visitors sign into the system using an iPad. In VisitorBook, these are Terminals.
- Needs Libresoft VisitorBook app installed.
- Works with iPad that supports iOS 15.0 and above.
Note: You can also download the VisitorBook app on an iPhone.
A label printer (and labels) #
You’ll need a printer for printing off visitor labels.
- VisitorBook is compatible with a Brother QL-820NWBc or a Brother QL-810W label printer.
- Printer must be Wi-Fi compatible.
- Link the printer to the same Wi-Fi used by the VisitorBook terminal.
This printer is also used for asset labels if you have the optional Asset module. This is a paid add-on to the basic subscription.
A kiosk (optional but recommended) #
Display the VisitorBook device in a kiosk for easy access and to maximise battery life.
