Wondering why you got an email that was ‘powered by VisitorBook’? Read on!
A welcome or farewell email notification #
When you visited an organisation or business that uses VisitorBook as its sign-in system, you may have been asked to provide your email address when you signed in. In this case, the place you visited has email notifications turned on for visitors.
An event notification #
If you have received details of a forthcoming event, the organisation or business that sent the invite has set up an event on their VisitorBook system and has turned on email notifications for events.
A host notification #
If you have received an email notification that a person has arrived at an organisation or business, the organisation/business in question has activated host notifications on their VisitorBook system and added you to at least one of their host groups.
But I don’t want these emails… #
Please contact the organisation or business that sent you the email notification directly and ask that they remove you from their notification lists. Please note the emails may have been sent for safeguarding or legal reasons, and it may not be possible to remove you from notification lists in some cases.
